I am looking for any/all information on the ALLSPAW family. I am just getting started on trying to gather information, so I really need all possible leads. My family name began as ALSPACH when ancesters immigrated from Amsterdam, changed to ALSPAUGH some time around the Civil War, and later anglicized to ALLSPAW, possibly in southern Indiana, the Bloomington - Bedford area. It is possible that some relatives moved to Virginia or North Carolina at some time, uncertain when. Most are believed to have been in the Van Wert - Mercer County area and in Adams County, Indiana. All leads will be very much appreciated! Thank you.

Joseph BENNETT was born in 1841 near Fostoria, OH. He married Louisa DECKER in 1864 Allen county. Louisa's appears as Lavisa in many records. She was born in Shelby, Ohio in 1841. They lived in Delphos, Van Wert County after they were married. All of their children were born in Delphos. Louisa shows up in Fostoria in the 1909-1910 directory as a widow.

I am looking for information on the following people: Ebson (Epsom, Ebzon) STEWART married to Elizabeth CAPPER; died in Van Wert, Co. Year unknown. Ellen STEWART married to Stephen CAPPER died in Van Wert Co., OH date unkown. Ebson married Elizabeth CAPPER in Carroll Co., OH in 1840 and Ellen married Stephen CAPPER in 1839 in Carroll Co., OH. So they would have been in the Van Wert some time after that, but have not been able to find out when. Any information much appreciated. I have lots of STEWART info. that I will gladly share.

George C. EINEMANN married Rosella METZCAR 2-28-1885 in Darke Co.., OH. They moved to Van Wert. Rosetta's mother Elizabeth PITTSENBARGER died in Ella's home in 1922. Ella was the informant. have very little information about my fathers people. I am looking for relatives and other genealogy help with the PICKERING and WALTZ surnames. My grandmother, Edna Mae WALTZ was from Pioneer, Williams County, Ohio and grandfather, Jacob PICKERING from possibly somewhere in Van Wert County, although he spent most of his life in Wauseon (Fulton County) Ohio. My father, Benjamin Jacob PICKERING) was born in 1918 in Morenci (Lenawee County) Michigan, and had older siblings (Edna and Ruth), so logic says information may be turn of the century.
The following is believed to be my Great Grandfather: Jacob PICKERING, b. 03 Apr 1820 - Rockingham Co, VA d: 19 Aug 1895, Morenci, MI, age 75y 4m 16d of consumption, buried in lot # 352 of Oak Grove Cemetery. Pickering and Waltz may be related by blood ???
